A popular watercolour artist
whose vibrant work is in various private
collections throughout the world, Mariana
lives and works in Wales, in the spectacular
Lower Wye Valley, an area of outstanding
natural beauty.
Her articles and paintings have been
published in Leisure Painter and Paint
magazines and her
favoured subjects include Flowers, Exotic Plants,
Animals and Landscapes, with much of her inspiration drawn
from her travels to the Far East, Italy,
Morocco and the South Pacific.
Mariana is a Professional Associate of the
SAA (Society for All Artists) and is
available for watercolour demonstrations and
one-day workshops to art groups and
societies within travelling distance of
Monmouth. Watercolour Painting courses
and holidays are suitable for all levels of
ability. As a
member of Wye Valley Tourism and Royal
Forest of Dean Tourism, Mariana is
also tutoring hotel breaks at locations in
the Lower Wye Valley.
Her latest project is
the opening of a small art
gallery called The Mariana-art
Gallery, at
Abbey Lodge, Tintern, Nr. Chepstow where you
can meet the artist at work and see a whole
range subjects in watercolours and acrylics
on canvas, by this versatile artist.
